Q.   Do resident youth under 14 need a license to hunt turkeys?

A.  Yes they do.  A turkey license is required of all hunters regardless of age.  Part of the confusion on this issue stems from the fact that youth under 14 generally do not need a license to hunt birds or small game.  However, licensing for wild turkeys is separate from other bird licensing.  Fees for turkey licenses are $16 residents and $72 for nonresidents
