DES MOINES – The Iowa Department of Natural Resources state parks staff is monitoring flooding conditions in parks across the state and updating the information on its website as reports come in. Click on the State Parks link at for the latest information.

Conditions are changing quickly and much of Iowa has rain in the seven day forecast. If the DNR closes a park, those with campsite, lodge and cabin reservations will receive a full refund. If individuals with reservations cancel due to weather but the park remains open, normal cancellation fees will apply.
