Interest in nature based recreation and outdoor skill development is growing amongst women. As role models and hard working mothers, women deserve a weekend of play and skill building all to themselves!
By popular demand, Vermont Outdoors Woman (VOW) announces their Fourth Annual Doe Camp Abnaki in North Hero on September 12-14th.
Sponsored by Vermont Fish and Wildlife, Waitsfield Telecom, VASA, Camp Abnaki, Friends of the NRA and many other organizations and instructors, Doe Camp Abnaki will offer an exciting, educational and fun weekend where participants can choose from over 35 courses such as fishing, archery, wilderness survival, firearm safety, kayaking, biking, orienteering and more!
Participants, 18 and up, stay in cabins on the shores of Lake Champlain and spend the day in a series of educational and fun workshops. At night, relax by the campfire with new and old friends.

Everything was great… the courses, food, venue, campfires, weather and the friendly and knowledgeable volunteers… It’s absolutely true “One weekend lasts a lifetime.” It will for us.” Women are encouraged to register early to ensure their top class choices.
