Harmonie State Park to Host Annual Luau, Aug. 1-3Harmonie State Park says “aloha” to visitors as the park celebrates its third annual end of the summer event with games and a luau.

According to assistant manager Chastity Spindler, the weekend will include activities such as hula dancing, instructions on how to make a lei, music, games, culminated by the luau.

The luau takes place on Saturday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $6.75 for ages 4 and up. The price includes dinner featuring meat from a whole roasted hog, with sides, and a drink. Luau tickets are limited and can be purchased at the park office.

Swimming is $1 from 6 p.m. until dark on Friday, and free from 6 p.m. until dark on Saturday.

All activities take place at either the Nature Center or swimming pool.

The standard gate fee of $5 for in-state and $7 for out-of-state vehicles applies.
