Tahquamenon Falls State Park Hosts Smokey Bear Day on Aug. 2
Tahquamenon Falls State Park is hosting its annual Smokey Bear Day on Saturday, Aug. 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lower Falls Day-Use Area. Representatives from the Department of Natural Resources’ Forest, Mineral and Fire Management Division will be on hand discussing fire prevention, last year’s Sleeper Lake Fire and display DNR firefighting equipment.
