CT DEP Presents “Night Adventure”

Dennis Hill State Park, Norfolk If you have ever wanted to visit a Connecticut state park even after the sun has set and the park is traditionally closed, then you should join The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for a nighttime adventure at Dennis Hill State Park. The event is Saturday, August 9th, 2008 from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Dennis Hill State Park is located off of Route 72 in Norfolk. This program is sponsored by the CT DEP as a part of Connecticut’s No Child Left Inside initiative.

Night adventures will include: nocturnal animal & insect walks, Native American stories by a campfire, basic astronomy and viewing of stars and constellations, and a fun constellations craft. Bring your whole family! Enjoy a delicious campfire treat!

This program is free to the public and is for all ages. Pre-registration is requested; please register by Tuesday, August 5, 2008.
