Firearm Hunter Education Class at Lincoln Izaak Walton League Aug. 11-13LINCOLN, Neb. – The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission has scheduled a firearm hunter education class for 8 a.m.-noon on Aug. 11-13 at the Lincoln Izaak Walton League Gun Range located a half-mile south of Nebraska Hwy 2 on 134 St. near Bennett. The class is open to anyone 11 years or older who wishes to become certified in Hunter Education. Any Hunter age 12-29 years who wishes to hunt in Nebraska must have proof of completion of hunter education while hunting. Students can register online at www.OutdoorNebraska.org or by calling (402) 471-6133.
