Hunter Education Course To Be Held in Fredonia, Kansas

Course required for those born on or after July 1, 1957

HUNTER EDUCATION COURSE TO BE HELD IN FREDONIAFREDONIA — Wilson County hunter education instructors will conduct a hunter education class on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 17, from noon to 5 p.m. in the Wilson County Courthouse basement, 615 Madison St. in Fredonia. Students should bring a sack lunch for Saturday; drinks will be provided. Students need to attend both days to receive certification.

To pre-register, phone the Wilson County Clerk’s office, 620-378-2186.

Kansas law requires that everyone born on or after July 1, 1957, who hunts on property other than their own must complete an approved hunter education course. Students must be 11 years old to receive a hunter education certificate.
