I never let an opportunity to bad mouth the game commission go by. They absolutely do not care about the public hunter. Hunting in Pa is becoming private. Those of us who do not have money or friends that can get us on to private land are royally screwed. I really love to hear these clowns whine about their budget. Many of us would be happy to pay more,,,,,if,if,if there was some place to hunt that actually had more game and less hunters on it. Here is a solution, morons, buy up more game lands while land is cheap, during this recession. Stock more. Stop giving out bonus deer tags. Close doe hunting on game lands. If some land owners complain about too many deer, tell them to open their freaking land to the rest of us.

I hunted in the an area (South Central region) where the PGC released birds. Opening day before it was light enough to see we heard shots and when it became light enough to hunt there were hunters everywhere. We were sprayed by stray pellets several times as guys were not even looking where they were shooting. We watched one guy shoot in the direction of one of his one hunting partners. Crazy…makes you not even want to hunt with all those crazies out there. I wish some type of law enforcement or game warden would partol the areas or there is no way we are going back!

Most hunters couldnt care less about tame pheasants. Better off to let a chicken loose in your yard and shoot it if thats your thing. This is a state of DEER HUNTERS. Pgc is ruining our deer herd. A bunch of ecoflake extremists now on the board of the game commission. This bs. needs fixed NOW!

I would like to know how i can get to become a WCO. I have been a sportsman all my life and am pleased bye the job the WCO’s in my areas of hunting, mostly 4D. They are a great bunch of people and i would be pleased to be helping them out as we all know they are shorthanded and work long hard hours.
