Permits Available for Currituck Sound Youth Hunt

Permits Available for Currituck Sound Youth HuntRALEIGH, NC  – A limited number of permits are available for a Jan. 31 Currituck Sound youth waterfowl hunt.

The permits are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for $5 from wildlife service agents or by calling (888) 248-6834. To be eligible for the hunt, youths must be between 12 and 16-years-old and Hunter Safety Certified.

Youth purchasing this permit, must be accompanied by a properly licensed adult who will not be allowed to hunt. The youth and adult must attend orientation on the evening before the hunt in order for the permit to be valid.
