Visitors are invited to cross-country ski, snowshoe or hike the trail and enjoy hot chocolate and marshmallows around a crackling campfire. The area behind the contact station will be plowed and available for parking. From there a friendly fire will mark the starting point.

The Bluff Trail will be groomed and track-set for the traditional skier and the other side of the trail will be hard packed for the walker or snowshoe user,” said Park Supervisor Randy Brown.

The modern Furnace Hill Lodge at Fayette State Park is available to rent all year. Rates are Sunday through Thursday, $100 per night; Friday and Saturday $125 per night. Call the park for reservations to reserve the Furnace Hill Lodge for your special winter event.
