Baraga State Park of Michigan Offering a Camper Coupon and Discount Book
Baraga State Park today announced it is now offering its campers a “Camper Coupon and Discount Book.” Area businesses have partnered with the park to offer campers more than 80 coupons that can be used at various Baraga County retailers.
The coupon book includes discounts on items from grocers, restaurants, automotive repair facilities, gift shops, gas and convenience stores, hair and beauty salons, pharmacies, fitness and health centers, hardware stores, lodging, entertainment and much more.
“We just recently started this promotion and have already distributed many discount books,” said DNR Park Supervisor Dan Dowdy. “The campers are excited and already using their coupons at local businesses, and are very pleased with the free items and discounts they are receiving.”
Also featured in this promotion is a coupon for one free night of camping at Baraga State Park. This coupon is only redeemable in person at the park and cannot be used toward online or call center reservations. Park visitors also will receive a free “Camper’s Gift,” redeemable at the Ojibwa Casino’s guest services office with proof of camper registration from Baraga State Park.
The coupon and discount books are exclusive to Baraga State Park patrons who are registered to stay four consecutive nights or longer at the park. Park visitors can obtain their coupon books upon their arrival. Books are limited to one per “Customer ID.”
Baraga State Park staff are hoping campers will GO-Get Outdoors, make their reservations and enjoy the discounts they will receive at area businesses during their stay. Park staff also would like to thank the Baraga County businesses for their support and participation in this promotion, Dowdy said.
