Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Announces Family Fly Fishing Program
Bellefonte, PA – Looking for a great way to connect with your family? Discover just how much fun fishing can be when you do it together at a PA Fish and Boat Commission’s Family Fly Fishing Program. The Sinnemahoning State Park and PA Fish and Boat Commission will host a Family Fly Fishing Program at Sinnemahoning State Park, Cameron County, on Sunday, July 10. The program will be held at 40 Maples Day Use Area from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
You and your family will have the opportunity to fish – no fishing license required and all equipment is provided. Learn basic fly fishing skills such as gear, knots, and casting ending with fishing on the First Fork of Sinnemahonig Creek. The “catch?” Adults must bring a child and children must bring an adult. You’ll be learning and fishing together. Participants must be eight years of age and older.
