The Idaho Fish and Game Commission will meet in Idaho Falls October 2-3. The meeting, to be held at the Red Lion Hotel on the Falls, will begin at 8:00 a.m. each day. A public hearing will be held at the same location at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2.

On Wednesday, Oct. 1, the Commission will take a tour of the Upper Snake Region.

Major agenda items include setting the fishing season rules for 2004-2005 and setting the 2004 nonresident deer and elk tag quotas and outfitter setaside. The commission will get a report on the status of Yellowstone cutthroat in the South Fork of the Snake River; big game status reports; an update on the whitetail deer plan revision currently underway and have a discussion on the process for sale of unclaimed controlled hunt tags.
