STERNBERG MUSEUM FEATURES BATS AND SETTLERS
Museum open Tuesday through Sunday

HAYS ó Three exhibits are now on display at the Sternberg Museum of Natural History in Hays. "Rush to the Rockies" displays newspaper stories and lithographs from 1850 to 1900 and highlights the westward movement of settlers across the Great Plains to the Rocky Mountains. "Rush to the Rockies" will be on display through October 5.

" Museum Memories: A Centennial Exhibition" features historic artifacts and miscellaneous natural history materials from the collections of the Sternberg Museum. There is no closing date for "Museum Memories" at this time.
A third exhibit, "Masters of the Night: The True Story of Bats," is also on display.

The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 1
p.m. to 7 p.m. The museum is closed Mondays.
