RANDOLPH - On Saturday, Oct. 4, Friends of Fancy Creek Range, Women of the NRA, and the National Rifle Association (NRA) Foundation will host a women's shooting event at the Tuttle Creek State Park's Fancy Creek Range from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event for women only will provide a day of safe, friendly shooting sports, including rifle, handgun, and shotgun shooting.

This is not a competitive event, and instruction will be provided. No experience is necessary. Firearms and ammunition will be provided. School-age children may attend a free, supervised nature program provided by Americorps volunteers in the parking lot adjoining the range.

A registration fee of $12 covers instruction, range fees, loaner firearms, ammunition, targets, eye and ear protection, snacks, and lunch. In addition, each paid participant may register one friend free of charge.
