PUBLIC WORKSHOP IN OCALA TO DISCUSS STATE DEER HUNTING RULES

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is holding a public workshop in Marion County to discuss proposed changes to deer hunting rules. The meeting is Sept. 30 at 7 p.m., in the Rowan Agricultural Complex (Marion County Extension Service) Auditorium, 2232 NE Jacksonville Road in Ocala.
This workshop will offer hunters and other interested persons the opportunity to meet with FWC wildlife biologists and share their thoughts about proposals to increase the quality of Florida’s deer herd by altering antler requirements and bag limits.
