Greenbrier State Park in Washington County has an abundance of toppled
trees. The park is making the wood available by permit to anyone
interested in cutting it up for firewood.
A firewood permit for up to one cord of wood costs $21, which
includes tax. The trees, a mix of hardwoods, are laying on the ground.
The wood is green.
