Win a Houseboat Vacation on Lake Mead

Seven Crown Resorts and Southwest Airlines have teamed up with the Nevada Department of Wildlife in a contest aimed at helping NDOW more efficiently put information in the public’s hands. Now through September 5th, signing up to receive informational e-mails from NDOW earns you the chance to win a 4-day houseboat vacation on Lake Mead, courtesy of Seven Crown Resorts. Included in the prize package are two round-trip tickets to anywhere Southwest Airlines flies.

“We’re reducing the number of publications we print, and sending information targeted by interest,” explained Kelly Clark, Conservation Education Bureau Chief for NDOW. “This trip is a great incentive to teach people more about wildlife and unique opportunities to experience Nevada’s outdoors, delivered via e-mail,” she said.

The “ Summit” Houseboat sleeps 10 to 12 comfortably, and features a full kitchen, air conditioning, a full sized bathroom with shower/tub, and 120 horsepower to cruise the lake. Imagine spending all morning fishing, exploring the lake, and frying up the morning’s catch on the onboard gas barbeque.

Entry is easy, and is on the home page at www.ndow.org.

The Nevada Department of Wildlife is the state agency responsible for the protection, restoration and management of fish and wildlife resources, and the promotion of boating safety on Nevada’s waters. Wildlife offices are located in Las Vegas, Henderson, Winnemucca, Fallon, Elko, and Reno. For more information, contact the agency web site at www.ndow.org
