VOW Announces Fourth Annual Doe Camp Abnaki For WomenInterest in nature based recreation and outdoor skill development is growing amongst women. As role models and hard working mothers, women deserve a weekend of play and skill building all to themselves! 

By popular demand, Vermont Outdoors Woman (VOW) announces their Fourth Annual Doe Camp Abnaki in North Hero on September 12-14th. 

Sponsored by Vermont Fish and Wildlife, Waitsfield Telecom, VASA, Camp Abnaki, Friends of the NRA and many other organizations and instructors, Doe Camp Abnaki will offer VOW Announces Fourth Annual Doe Camp Abnaki For Womenan exciting, educational and fun weekend where participants can choose from over 35 courses such as fishing, archery, wilderness survival, firearm safety, kayaking, biking, orienteering and more!   

Participants, 18 and up, stay in cabins on the shores of Lake Champlain and spend the day in a series of educational and fun workshops. At night, relax by the campfire with new and old friends. 

Camp Abnaki is a great place to get a group of friends or family together and bunk up with the ladies for a weekend.  Women of all abilities are encouraged to come with an adventurous spirit and curious mind!

VOW Announces Fourth Annual Doe Camp Abnaki For WomenMany Doe Camp Abnaki participants have praised their experience in the past. One Doe Camper said, ” My daughters and I had a fantastic time. Everything was great… the courses, food, venue, campfires, weather and the friendly and knowledgeable volunteers… It’s absolutely true “One weekend lasts a lifetime.” It will for us.”  Women are encouraged to register early to ensure their top class choices.
