RALEIGH, N.C. – Anglers can fish for trout this winter without leaving Cumberland County.
In December, the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission stocked more than 1,000 brook, brown and rainbow trout in two ponds at the John E. Pechmann Fishing Education Center for several upcoming fly-fishing clinics during January, February and March.
